Sword Dance is a novel that deals with a fateful love between Jungyu, a novelist who studied creative writing in college, and Eunmi, a Korean Geisha who is the reincarnation of Wunsim, a famous sword dancer Geisha from Milyang. Sword Dance portrays the palpable history of modern Korea through the love story of Jungyu and Eunmi. The author reflects that he spent 10 years writing the novel hoping for the dissipation of the conflicts of the age that form the backdrop to the lives of the two protagonists. Sword Dance tells the coming-of-age of a man who was born into an ordinary family and learns about love and the society in which he lives.
